Great pub fare in an traditional English Maritime setting.  Located inside the Royal Naval Dockyard Warehouse, The Frog and Onion Pub is a Nautical Decor lovers’ dream.  The menu items are all names after old English pubs and there are a couple of centuries of old ship-parts hanging on the wall.

It is huge and you may want to ramble around the place before being seated.  There are three large rooms inside and a couple of outside patios so be sure to look about before choosing your table.  Bring your camera, as you’ll want to take some photos of something, for sure.

The name, Frog and Onion Pub, is derived from the original owners, French-born Jean-Paul Magnin (the Frog) and Bermuda-born Carol West (the Onion).

The menu reads much like a traditional English pub menu with meat pies, sandwiches, ploughman’s lunch, fish & chips, bangers & mash, chicken Balti Curry,etc…  The usual tasty starters, soups and salads, as well as, excellent desserts.

Some things stand out on the Frog and Onion menu.  Try the Fire Grilled Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail as a starter and the Four Hour Pork Ribs for the main!  You will be totally satisfied, believe it!

Service and bartenders are amazing.  You can tell there is a very happy work environment as all the staff seem to be enjoying their workday.
